‘The world has changed, and it’s going to keep changing. Stop waiting for things to calm down and get back to normal,’ were the words of Graham Codrington, motivational speaker during Congress.
Codrington gave a fresh and positive perspective on the challenges producers currently face and said that now is the time to shift your mind, use the opportunity, and get anti-fragile. ‘Switch on your radar to see what is changing in the world, because in the dip of the spiral lies the greatest opportunity. Re-imagine your business model. Experiment, because the ladder to success is not filled with successes.’
The message during this uplifting session was that producers would not be getting out of this alone but getting out together. ‘That is what anti-fragility is. Do things that you have not done before.’
