The NAMPO ALFA expo held at NAMPO Park from 17 to 19 October was a celebration of the industries that sustain and inspire rural communities. This third edition of NAMPO ALFA brought a perfect synergy of tradition and cutting-edge innovation, drawing around 8 500 visitors over the three days.

Building on the success of NAMPO ALFA 2023, which saw a remarkable 50% growth in exhibitors, the 2024 edition showcased everything from champion livestock and state-of-the-art farming equipment to innovative outdoor gear and firearms. The diversity of exhibitors, 273 in total, highlighted NAMPO ALFA’s growing platform for these industries.

One of the key highlights was the national congress of the Red Meat Producers Organisation, which was held this year during the NAMPO ALFA expo. For smaller-scale farmers, a small-scale beef cattle producers conference offered invaluable insights, practical workshops, and even a chance to compete in a carcass competition.

Families with children weren’t left out either. From petting zoos and pony rides to interactive workshops, younger attendees were introduced to the world of farming and outdoor living in a fun and engaging way.

If you missed NAMPO ALFA this year, start planning now for 2025 – you won’t want to miss it.
