Reinke Africa has once again proved why they remain a firm favourite among producers at this year’s NAMPO. Marking their seventh consecutive appearance at this important event, Reinke delivered a standout experience under the theme ‘Route to Reinke’ – blending innovation, practicality, and a heartfelt passion for farming.

Smart farming solutions
Visitors to the Reinke stand were introduced to some of the latest breakthroughs in smart farming solutions. Leading the way was the revolutionary Shark Wheel, a tough, airless pivot wheel designed to reduce rutting and eliminate punctures – a real game-changer in the pivot irrigation space. Alongside this, Reinke launched special promotions on their CropX smart soil sensor technology, offering producers real-time, data-driven insights to better manage irrigation and boost productivity.
Other highlights included a mobile fertiliser tank, practical solar panel options, and the robust vertical turbine pumps developed in partnership with Watertronics.
Rooted in service and family values
General manager Anton Lombard shared insight into Reinke’s growing footprint in South Africa, explaining that the company relocated from Durban to Potchefstroom in 2022 to be more centrally positioned, enabling them to service a larger part of the country more effectively. It is here where Reinke manufactures pivots and supplies irrigation equipment and parts, bringing world-class technology closer to local producers.
‘Reinke is privately owned in the USA and takes great pride in its family values, where the client always comes first,’ Lombard said. ‘I’m especially proud of the fact that the first pivot we imported into South Africa in the 1980s is still working today – a true testament to our quality and commitment to our producers.’
Reinke officially opened its doors in South Africa in 2016 and has since become a trusted partner in the agricultural sector, known for its reliability, service excellence, and innovative approach to irrigation.
NAMPO 2025 saw the Reinke stand buzzing with activity, from in-depth product demonstrations to conversations with eager school learners curious about the future of irrigation. ‘It wasn’t just about selling products – it was about building relationships and sharing knowledge,’ Lombard added.
With parts available at agri retailers countrywide – compatible with any pivot system – Reinke ensures that every producer has access to the best in irrigation technology, backed by dependable local service.
